Acceptance of Terms
Using the B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd Website, you agree to these terms of use. B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd reserve the right at any time to change, modify, update or alter the terms of use including product prices and product information. You agree to be bound by such modifications alterations and subsequent visits. Any placement of orders indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Manufacturer's Warranty
(a) Regarding faulty or damaged products, we may offer exchange, repair or refund as appropriate in accordance with your legal rights.
(b) The manufacturer's warranty will vary on different products
Damages – The customer should report any damage or shortage to B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd by phone or email within 12 hours on receipt of goods.
Warranty – All safes are guaranteed for 12 months from date of delivery on all working parts. B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd must be notified of any fault within the warranty period and any subsequent repairs to be carried out by B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd or our nominated engineers. Repairs will be carried out during normal working hours Monday / Friday 8am-5pm.
Fixing of Safes and Floor Loads – With base fixing of safes onto floors, the customer will be responsible for any damage that may occur if any services are affected when drilling into floors; this will apply for wall fixing. The customer shall be responsible for ensuring the floor area is adequate to support the weight of the safe.
Payments (1)
(a) Credit Card payments are only accepted as shown on our website.
(b) Application for credit terms may be applied for and granted at the discretion of B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd. Payment terms for credit accounts are 30 days from invoice date. B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd reserve the right to withdraw credit facilities at any time.
Payments (2)
Goods remain the property of B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd until all payments and cleared funds have been paid in full. All unpaid amounts will incur interest of 2% per month.
<strong<hire safes<="" strong=""> Terms and Conditions: All hire safes when installed become the safe responsibility of the hirer. The hirer will be responsible for all costs of any damage to the safe from attack or abuse. All keys and combinations must be returned with the safe. Loss or damage of keys will be chargeable. All cash ratings supplied by B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd must be checked with the customer’s own insurers.
Additional charges will apply on a weekly bases should the hire period be extended. A deposit will be required for any special requirements made to the safe.</strong
Hire of Safes
Variables include approximate size of safe, cash rating (ask a safe cracker), locking preference i.e. key lock, mechanical combination lock, electronic lock, hire period.
We are able to supply deliveries and install to any location – upper floors, basement, ground floors and all work is carried out by our own transport and trained staff.
B.D.B. Lock and Safe Ltd are fully insured and will supply all documents (including RAMS) on request.

B.D.B. We manufacture Safe Deposit units and Bespoke Safes for hotels and banks to customer requirements. We are able to provide a complete safe service providing a team of award-winning safe engineers to repair, open and upgrade any type of safe.
Our Aim
We are committed to providing a professional service, setting up quality products with advice directly from safe engineers who are able to give a practical answer to any safe-related questions.
All safes are prepared by removing existing paintwork, priming and re-spraying to quality finish. All boltwork and moving parts of the safe are checked, serviced and lubricated. Anti-explosive devices are checked to ensure correct operation.
Reconditioned Safes
We have a huge variety of safes in our warehouse based in Coventry. These consist of Cash and Fire protected safes in different sizes and cash ratings. Our reconditioned safes are serviced to the highest standards and quality checked before delivery to our customers. New or refurbished locks are fitted, and key locks are supplied with 2 x keys as standard. All safes are prepared and spray-painted for a quality finish, and special order paints can be arranged to customer requirements. Bespoke reconditioned safes are available on request. All reconditioned safes carry a one year parts and labour warranty, and deliveries will be charged accordingly.
Bespoke Safes
Made to measure safes are custom built to suit your requirements. We are able to produce any size of safes to any type of finish you require; external finish from a standard spray paint to a high gloss finish, wood veneer to a fabric finish is also available. Internal finishes can be standard adjustable shelving to integrated internal compartment and drawers in any finish and material. Gun safes are also custom made to your requirements. Locking options for bespoke safes include: Key lock, Mechanical combination lock, Electronic and time-locks. All bespoke safes carry one year parts and labour warranty.
Delivery & Installation
All access restrictions must be declared prior to the quoting stage. BDB Lock & Safe are not liable for any minor scratches or marks when installing safes into domestic properties. Where care and protection are used at times, this is not a 100% guarantee. If information is not provided from the client regarding specific access issues such as gravel driveways / high value flooring (such as Marble), BDB has the right to refuse delivery and an aborted visit charge will be issued. If installation takes place when access restrictions are not declared at the point of quoting, we can not be responsible for any damage to the client property.
